YMMV RADIO announces national tour in conjunction with second anniversary celebration.

YMMV Radio will celebrate their second anniversary on October 19, 2006 with the first meeting of their “New York City Bargain Hunters Club”. Having now produced over thirty episodes of their acclaimed program, they are packing up and hitting the road.
“We are very excited about the upcoming events,” says manager H.T. Bear, “After working in the studio for so long, we were ready to do something new and be able to interact with our fans. We really got things going last summer, with the live show here in New York which was seen by over five hundred people. After bootleg videos of the show started appearing for sale online, we knew we had to let people see the show in person.”
“I did not want to tour at first,” says host Sam Pocker, “but the phone just has not stopped ringing since August with people who had seen the bootleg and wanted to know when we were coming to their town. Because of logistical issues, we may only get to some parts of the country, but we will make sure to play as many places as we can handle. This is our first national tour, so we are all working very hard to ensure we have a great show for our fans.”
The whole crew at YMMV has been writing an upcoming book “Retail Anarchy” to be released next year, and have begun booking dates for the tour. Dates are expected to be announced shortly, and tickets will be on sale before Christmas. “They make a nice stocking stuffer,” says Bear.
