(PRWEB UK) 18 May 2011
StylistPick, the subscription-based fashion buying website for shoe and accessory shoppers, has appointed Savina Barnes as Buying and Merchandising Director.
Previously at Shop Direct (Littlewoods, Very.co.uk) as Head of Buying (Footwear and Accessories) Barnes has come on board at StylistPick to extend the product offer to include handbags jewellery, as well as extending the shoe footwear range.
Since coming on board, Barnes has also appointed Chantelle Scott, Footwear Buyer, formerly at Dune Group and Vicky Williamson, Accessories Buyer, from Touchstone Jewellery and Primark stores.
Barnes’ comments – ‘I am really excited to be joining such a unique online business. StylistPick offers the UK consumer a real fresh approach to online shopping and has many USP’s which will set it apart from the competition.’
StylistPick’s USP lies in its personalised customer service that gives subscribers exclusive access to trusted top celebrity and TV stylists, who deliver specially selected items to in-boxes, according to customers’ profile.
Leading fashion personalities on board include Grace Woodward from Britain’s Next Top Model and The X Factor; fashion journalist and MTV star Louise Roe; and professional stylists Charlotte Adsett, Steph Stevens, Arabella Greenhill and Chris Leger who dress celebrities including Alexa Chung, Dannii Minogue, Paloma Faith and Pixie Lott.
StylistPick’s ‘shoe and bag drops’, a monthly hand picked selection for subscribers, takes the legwork out of shoe shopping at a cost of just £39.95 per month.
Barnes states ‘We will bring the latest trends and irresistible “must have” pieces to the customer every month.’
